Recreational Director
Meet Our Recreational Director
The Recreational Camp Director plays a central role in ensuring that every young player—especially beginners and developing athletes—has a fun, safe, and memorable experience at Pro 11. Frequently Asked Questions
What ages can register for Recreational Camps?
Recreational Camps are open to players ages 5–12. Campers are grouped by age and ability to ensure a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate experience.
Who runs the Recreational Camps?
Camps are led by the Recreational Camp Director and a staff of friendly, experienced youth coaches who specialize in early development. All coaches are trained in the Pro 11 philosophy of fun, confidence-building, and skill development.
How do you group players?
Players are grouped by age, and sometimes by skill level as they become more comfortable. This helps every child feel challenged and supported at the right pace.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
Our staff is trained to work with new and hesitant players. We focus on fun, introductory activities that build comfort and confidence quickly. Most children warm up within the first hour.
Do parents need to stay during camp?
Parents are welcome to watch but are not required to stay. We encourage families to use the designated viewing areas if they choose to observe.
Does my child need to have soccer experience?
No experience is required! Recreational Camps are designed for beginners and developing players. Our goal is to help kids build confidence, learn the basics, and fall in love with the game.
What should my child bring to camp?
Please send your camper with:
-
Soccer cleats (or athletic shoes)
-
Shin guards
-
A soccer ball
-
Water bottle
-
Snack and packed lunch
-
Sunscreen
We provide all other equipment, shade, and hydration stations.
What is the coach-to-player ratio?
We maintain a low ratio—typically 1 coach for every 8–12 players—to ensure each child receives attention, encouragement, and proper instruction.
What about heat or weather concerns?
Player safety is our priority. We adjust intensity, increase shade and hydration breaks, or shift activities as needed on hot or poor-weather days.
Is there a refund or cancellation policy?
Yes. Refunds or credits may be available based on our camp policy. Families often choose a credit for a future Pro 11 camp if schedules change.
